Phoebe Killdeer was born in Antibes on the Côte d' Azur and lived the first years of her life with her sisters and Australian parents in Aix -en- Provence. The family moved to the UK after 10 years in France, Upon her return to London from Africa where she was exposed to Hip Hop during her travels in Zimbabwe and South Africa, Phoebe began her musical career at age 20 and with the support of her sister Chloe, she has performed her own music and lyrics in London clubs. Warner Brothers offered Phoebe a record deal but she refused the offer and continued on with her work as a sound engineer and live performer in London clubs. The first major appearance was in 2003 as a guest voice on the Basement Jaxx - album " Kish Kash". In time their management sent a demo CD to Marc Collin the creator of Nouvelle Vague who was looking for new singers. Phoebe has performed with Nouvelle Vague for since 2005. Phoebe lives in Berlin and has lived in Paris, Zimbabwe, London, Barcelona, "and that's the most important thing for an artist: inspiration to seek out new experiences, meet new people, to understand new cultures," she says. "The world has opened up to me. That is where my songs come from. "The album "Innerquake" is the second album Phoebe has recorded with her band The Short Straws. It feeds on all the types of rock and roll: from Stooges -like Detroit Punk, Rockabilly and David Lynch psycho blues. The Short Straws are Cedric Le Roux (guitar), Raphael Seguinier (drums) and Alexandre Maillard (bass), three musicians who came together at various sessions in studios and rehearsal rooms of Paris in 2007.,,

Renate Graziadei born in Austria, began her dance training in Switzerland. She then went to New York for three years to study, live and work, most notably as a dancer for the Nina Wiener dance company. Upon her return to Europe, she worked with Rui Horta at the S.O.A.P. Dance Theatre Frankfurt and then moved on to the dance group COAX in Hamburg. In the fall of 1994 she established the LaborGras collective with Arthur Stäldi. In 1997 and 1998 she received a grant from the danceWEB programme during the ‘International Weeks of Dance’ in Vienna. In 1997 she was additionally profiled in the critic’s survey of the magazine ballet international / tanz aktuell as ‘upcoming female dancer’. Since 1996 she has been teaching contemporary technique regularly in various institutions in Germany and internationally. Since summer 2004 she has been working as rehearsal director for Sasha Waltz & Guests for the productions Impromptus, Dialoge 06 – Radiale Systeme, Medea, Romeo & Juliette, Metamorphoses and Continu. Since 2008 she is also dancing with Sasha Waltz & Guests in the projects Jagden and Formen and Metamorphoses. Her longest collaboration has been with the choreographer David Hernandez.

Mariagiulia Serantoni was born in 1987 in Busto Arsizio, Italy. She started dancing at the age of nine at Chorea Studios in Bologna where she first approached Graham and Limòn Techniques. In 2009 she received a Dance-Theatre Postgraduate Diploma in Paolo Grassi School of Drama, Milan, Italy. In the same year she founded the Fattoria Vittadini Dance Company, sprouted from the Paolo Grassi artistic environment. The Company was born with the idea of hosting different artists to work with the established group. Interesting collaborations came out of this concept as My true self, project created in 2010 directed by Maya Weinberg and performed in different international Festivals. In 2012 the company counts another appealing collaboration with Matanicola Company which gave birth to intervention #1, 2, 3 performed in Milano and Les Grand Traversèe Festival in Bordeaux. In 2010 she attended the Modem Atelier Course, a six month professional training at Roberto Zappalà Dance Company in Catania. In the year after she produced a solo called Whatami performed in various Festivals and worked as freelancer for different companies as Samotracia Dance-Theatre and Shuko Company. Keeping her Italian artistic activities, she is currently living in Berlin and involved in the Project (“The Renaissance of…”) with laborers under the direction of Renate Graziadei and Arthur Stäldi.
