Wandering Mind

Wandering Mind

is a laborgras commissioned work for the Ensemble of the Folkwang Tanzstudio in Essen. Thanks to: Rodolpho Leoni and the dancers.

Rodolpho Leoni, artistic director of the Folkwang Tanzstudio in Essen, has invited the Berlin-based choreographer and dancer Renate Graziadei to create a new dance evening for and with the Folkwang Tanzstudio ensemble in Essen. In Wandering Mind, everything revolves around the associations and moods that arise when our thoughts wander. Instead of a coherent story, Graziadei presents fragmentary impressions in her work, which are brought to the stage by the Folkwang Tanzstudio dancers. They immerse themselves in a world of experience that can be melancholic, absurd, loving or mysterious.
