Anat Shamgar

Anat Shamgar, a dance maker, head of the Choreography program and the Movement Department in the Music and Dance Academy in Jerusalem 2010 - 2016. Anat was one of the pioneering improvisation performers in Israel and has been collaborating with numerous artists from many fields in Israel and Abroad. Anat emphasizes on pure movement, space, and body-awareness as its motives, keeping the personal present.

Renate Graziadei

Renate Graziadei, born in Austria, began her dance education in Switzerland. Afterwards, she studied and worked in New York for three years at the Nina Wiener Dance Company, among others. Upon returning to Europe, she worked with Rui Horta at the S.O.A.P. Dance Theatre Frankfurt and then joined the Hamburg dance group COAX. In addition to realizing her own projects as laborgras, (Renate Graziadei & Arthur Stäldi) she also was and still is involved in productions by other artists. Her longest and closest cooperation exists since 1999 with the choreographer David Hernandez. Renate  has been also working as a co-repetitor and dancer for Sasha Waltz & Guests since 2004. In 2010, she was honored as the best female dancer of the year 2010 in the ballett-tanz critics’ survey and in march 2015 laborgras has received the Kunstpreis Berlin. 2015 Renate was also nominated for the German Theater Prize DER FAUST for her achievement in dance in the production “Transition” (world premiere 2014 at DOCK 11, Berlin). Currently she is working on new production with laborgras and dancing as a guest for Susanne Linke Company for the production Hommage A Dore Hoyer.

Michael Thieke, the Berlin-based clarinetist/composer/performer Michael Thieke is equally at home across a broad range of musical environments, such as experimental song forms, collectively composing projects, improvising collectives, and music on the fringes of jazz. He is exploring the minutiae of sound, timbre and noise, with a particular interest in microtonality and related sound phenomena, and with a preference for long-term collaborations and collective work. Concert tours took him  all around Europe and to China, Canada, Lebanon, Japan, Taiwan, Malaysia and the USA, and his work has been documented on over 40 releases on such labels as staubgold, ftarri, leo records, erstwhile, monotype and another timbre. Some of his current Projects are: The International Nothing, The Magic  I.D., The Pitch, Splitter Orchester, Nashaz, Porta Chiusa, Motif and Der Lange Schatten, as well as duos with Biliana Voutchkova and Olivier Toulemonde.
