Anca Huma & Giorgia Minisini

Residence N°14

Please Note:
The Open Door on Friday is canceled.

Anca Huma and Giorgia Minisini are holding a residency working on the “Paula Method of the Ring Muscles”:

“The system of ring muscles – sphincters -°©‐ is a functional, not anatomical, system. Exercises based on the method activates the ring muscles that function to the basic mmovements of life: the pulsing movement of contraction and release, opening and closing”.

Once the movement’s source (a repetitive pattern) is established and continuously sustained, they develop a rhythmical progress allowing them to explore different and various prospectives brought to their extremes.

Their constant focus on movements, sometimes amplified, brings them towards a specific spatial research in which the actions flow is able to unfold itself generated path.

The process creates the real circumstances for a real journey to happen.
