THE CHOREONAUTS – AFRO-EUROPEAN NAVIGATIONS IN DANCE

“If we live in total order, nothing can change, if we live in total chaos, there is no foothold.” In CHAOTIC ORDER – A BLINK OF AN EYE, Graziadei distills finely fragmentized kinesthetic tableaux from social observations. She fathoms the inner logic of physical articulations. Her choreographic attention for the smallest moments meets the expressive dance and body language of the Ivorian ensemble – and each impulse and decision shifts the interactions in one direction or another. As a „choreonaut“ for the first time in Abidjan, her piece includes aspects of her own perception and inspirations from the exchange with the hosts.
