Collective ONE:THIRD: Fate of the Galaxies

ONE: THIRD explores the most natural form of human communication in front of audiences and ourselves – a laboratory of real life. We are a group of professional dancers from a diverse array of countries and cultural backgrounds.

Through our work we want to share this diversity and exchange our research on own individual movement, through one common language: instant composition. We try to listen to an instinctive voice that leads us to connect with ourselves and then to others.

Every new context hides a variety of new constellations, vibes and flavours of life. The Moments that arise from these constellations we share in front of the watching eye. Movement is the catalyst for further movement. We react organically to one another, absorbing and transmitting energy. This connection of different bodies and textures is what unites this group, and yet our individual diversity remain

About Fate of the Galaxies
Periodically galaxies cross too close one another objects of different philosophy begin to interact attract themselves slow down Unravel one of their arms they do not collide but fly by each other brief interaction sets in motion tremendous changes they are drawing back together their shapes rearrange flashes accompany creation of new stars but most of the time nothing happens.

“Fate of the Galaxies” was a winner of 100° Festival 2015, Sophiensaele Berlin.
Jury statement:
“For their distinct momentary compositions and diverse portrayal of particles within constellations as human relationships. Your rearranging shapes and spheres together with exquisite music was illuminative and uplifting and created a ‘complete picture’ what we feel like in the big world.”
